Michael Jackson Is Dead
June 25, 2009 | Leave a Comment
The entertainment world was shocked today as it has been reported the the so-called King of Pop, Michael Jackson has died. Jackson was only 50 years old and has died of an apparent heart attack after he was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital.
He is most widely known for his album Thriller that came out in 1982 that has sold over 25 million copies and included such hits as Billie Jean and of course Thriller. The Thriller video featured dancing zombies such as in The Night Of The Living Dead and was open to speculation as to what the whole thing meant.
Jackson had his troubles as he faced molestation charges a number of times, a divorce from Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie after 2 years of marriage, near bankruptcy, the sale of his Neverland Ranch and personal effects and other matters.
Michael Jackson was gearing up for a comeback tour and 50 shows at a London Arena that was to begin on July 13th.
Many considered Jackson somewhat of a freak as he became increasingly out of touch with normal life. He was almost never seen out of costume or makeup and his appearence seemed to change on a yearly or even more frequent basis. he was known for being quite excentric and buying lavish furnishings and also spending nearly all his earnings from concert tours on expensive suites in world class hotels.
The world will never know what might have happened on his latest planned comeback tour.
Mike Jackson is dead at age 50.

When Did Johnny Carson Die?
June 23, 2009 | Leave a Comment
Since Ed Mcmahon just died in Los Angeles hospital early this morning, many people are asking when did Johnny Carson Die?
Johnny Carson died on January 23, 2005 of emphysema also in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Carson is most obviously famous for hosting the Tonight Show for 30 years with Ed Mcmahon faithfully by his side almost always laughing at his corny jokes. I remember watching the Tonight Show for years and seeing Johnny do some of his most famous routines such as Carnac the Magnificent where he would put an envelope up to his head and give an answer, and then open the envelope and read the question.
Jay Leno recently stepped down from the Tonight Show and it is currently being hosted by Conan O’Brien however, no one will ever replace the Johnny Carson, Ed Mcmahon duo. They will be certainly be missed.
