A couple of weeks ago us American Idol fans were shocked when Adam Lambert ended up in the bottom 3 and was actually in the bottom 2 contestants. Many fans have picked Adam, with his incredible vocal range, to be the sure thing winner of the whole show this season.

If anyone had any doubt about Adam having the pipes or the talent (I don’t know how anyone could at this point?) they surely would have been able to put them to rest after hsi incredible rendition of Led Zepplin’s Whole Lotta Love. I think that Adam’s version rivals that of Robert Plant’s.

Honestly though, I don’t think American Idol has seen anyone with the talent of Adam Lambert ever. He is probably the earliest stand out and the most sure to win the competition in AI history. I think the problem 2 weeks ago was that the voting dynamic changes dramatically from week to week because of where the person who gets voted off votes go. Allison Iraheta proved that by being in the bottom 3 consistently until Lil Rounds left the show. Apparently many of Lil’s votes went to the only girl left and move Allison from the bottom 3 to the top 2. Unfortunately, that didn’t las too long as she was voted off last week.

It was looking as though it might have been an Allison and Adam final, but that won’t be. Allison had immense talent and maturity for her young 16 years and she’s sure to get some sort of recording deal.

We’ll all watch tonight and see what happens to the last 3 guys left. Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen will put it all on the line on the American Idol stage and I’m sticking with Adam to take it all two weeks from now. Enjoy the show.

I agree with your assessment of Adam. He is the most talented person who ever has, and probably ever will, appear on American Idol. He deserves to win. However, I think that Kris will end up getting all of Danny’s votes as Danny’s fans don’t like Adam and Kris and Danny are such similar singers. With only a million votes separating first and second place this week, it seems like Kris will, unfortunately, end up winning.
