Do you think Sanjaya Malakar will survive another week on American Idol? Do you think his performance last night was strong enough? Do you think his little dance with Paula Abdul will be enough to push him through to next week?

What, are you crazy?

Sanjaya is going to be around for a long time and as I mentioned on a previous post he will probably win the whole show. However, this ultimately will not be a good thing for American Idol. Over at the Huffington Post, Alex Blagg thinks that Sanjaya “is the comet that will crash into the Idol juggernaut, inflicting irreparable damage that will signify the beginning of the end for what has seemed like an indestructible TV dynasty.”

He surmises that socially, after the Sanjaya phenom, we will see the superficiality of the show and that in effect, will be the end of American Idol. Let’s just say that we all know that even thought the show has made some people’s dreams come true, there are certainly more important things in life than what happens every week on American Idol.

I would have to agree with Alex to some degree, there are more important things in life than Idol.

24 is on Monday night!

PS - That is a joke I hope you know.

      Sanjaya Malakar, another Delon’s Syndrome(?)…

but there’s some thing fishy that i smell about this rejection. i think this is some kind of racist.

because Sanjaya, not Caucasian nor Afro-American. he is an Indian-born. so I believe, he’s not accepted because this racist things.
      if Sanjaya is…
