Wow! Who rigged American Idol this year? It is certainly turning out to be one of the weirdest American Idol shows of all time, well at least for the six years it has been on.

Tonight was a complete shocker for me as well as, I assume everyone else watching the show. I believe Sabrina Sloan easily could have won American Idol this year because she is that talented, but it’s not to be because she’s going home. Sabrina was in my top three picks and for America to send her home over Haley Scarnato is a travesty. Haley has the voice and personality of a lounge singer and Sabrina looks like a polished professional. America definitely got that one wrong.

I’m also completely shocked that Sundance Head is going home as well. Even though he had some major screw ups in his Hollywood auditions I believe he was much more talented than Sanjaya Malakar. Not to take anything away from Sanjaya, but as he proved throughout the competition, he just doesn’t have the talent and the poise to be deserving of the top 12. He must have a boatload of MySpace friends.

I do have to say at least one good thing about the voters, they got Antonella Barba off the show, finally.

At this point I don’t even want to attempt to make any predictions as to who will win American Idol because nothing adds up.

      American Idol has lost all credability. There is NO WAY Sanjaya could be standing in the top 12 without help from a source. Whether it is solicited/paid phone callers, teenage girls (in the millions) which I doubt, or something sinister, it adds up to be non-believable at this point. Antonella & Sanjaya are undoubtedly the worse singers the show has ever put though. How they made it this far makes one think the show is rigged more than the American public is aware of. I cannot waste anymore time watching this show. Up till now it was about talent. Unfortunately, this season has definately
      proved otherwise.

      I totally agree with you Amy. It’s absolutely unbelievable! I was just like Paula when Sanjaya won out over Sundance, speechless.
