After last night’s boring performances from most of the guys, the ladies shined once again on American Idol this evening. Several girls did so well tonight I think that we probably won’t see any guys in the top 3. Of course Antonella Barba continued to be boring and I have to completely agree with Simon on the point that she’s just not going to get any better. She just can’t compete with such huge talent.

Here’s how the ladies proved, for the most part, that they are much better than the guys:

Jordin Sparks - Jordin started tonight with Pat Benatar’s Heartbreaker and it was a wild performance that I think she oversang on, but it was much better than most of the guys.

Sabrina Sloan - Sabrina is awesome! She has the look, she has the confident personality and she certainly has the voice. I don’t think the song choice was the best, but when she gets the right song she will hit it out of the park. She’s in my top 3 at the end.

Antonella Barba - Must we? Please, please, please don’t vote for her. She is seriously boring. Simon wishes she could sing better and so do I.

Haley Scarnato - Haley would make a good singer at a theme park like Disney World, but she’s not an American Idol and Simon thought it was horrible.

Stephanie Edwards - Pretty good although I’m not really into that kind of music, she stands out as one of the better performers.

Lakisha Jones - Lakisha looked much better this evening in a way better outfit for her. Lakisha is how an American Idol should sound, she rocks!

Gina Glocksen - Thank God we have a rocker on the show this season! I think we saw the true Gina tonight and I like it! She’s edgy and very original with her Evanescence style, even though they are a little creepy.

Melinda Doolittle - Melinda is the best talent on American Idol this season, I hope everyone understands that. Look at the difference between her and Brandon Rogers, both back-up singers, but Melinda is light years ahead of Brandon in talent.

I think when all is said and done, the top 3 at the end of the show will be all girls and Melinda Doolittle, Lakisha Jones and Sabrina Sloan will be there. The guys, except for Blake Lewis and Chris Sligh, should pack their bags.

      morons,

      Antonella is by far the best. Unlike the others she has character. She is not as much of a generic moron cliche as the others are. America is so uptight and so is Simon and the other freaks. There is no doubt she blew all the others away. Use your ears not your brainwashed minds. So what if she is showing some skin all over the internet it just shows that she is real. Anyone who thinks she can’t sing is just jealous.
