American Idol Preview Video

There are a few preview videos over at AmericanIdol.com of various funny bits and auditions from season 6, but the funniest is this preview clip. The contestants are supposed to be singing Take Me Out To The Ball Game and they totally bomb it.

I guess the judges have them do more than just the one song they came prepared for and have everyone sing a standard so they’re all on the same level for at least one point during the competition. Well, they really butcher this one.

They did a great job of editing the takes together and it’s really funny towards the end when they switch back and forth between two of the off key male singers that are a half step apart and it’s quite funny.
